What the stork brings

Yesterday: Stork, Snake, Ship

Three SSS, like a hissing snake…

My new computer arrived yesterday! I spent half the day waiting for it and they other half playing with it :) So the Stork and Ship literally brought stuff to me, expensive and luxurious stuff too, as the Ship indicates. I also ordered a couple of decks (Stork?) and one of them was ’shipped’ the same day. Naughty!

So far so good. What about the Snake? It stumped me a bit initially. The first idea was skiving off work yesterday, for the reasons mentioned above. It also makes me think there might be something wrong with my new stuff, but I didn’t detect any problems. I’ll check again more carefully later.

Upon further reflection, a couple more ideas suggest themselves. Madame Seaqueen mentions ‘renewal’ as one possible meaning for the Snake, which makes sense as I work with the computer a lot and this will be a big change for me (Stork+Snake).

Also, as the Queen of Clubs, the Snake can refer to a woman, possibly older, a relative, or clever and manipulative. Well that describes three separate women I spoke to on the phone yesterday! All three older than me, relatives, intelligent, and two of them at least I could describe as sly or manipulative if I was feeling nasty. (Me as the Snake? :p)

One of them spoke of some medical exams she needs to take. Chanah says here that the Snake could mean that ‘tests necessary to come to a proper diagnosis will be fruitful’ and I hope it’s true because she has been suffering and the doctors aren’t clear on the causes.

The Lenormand strikes again, I never cease to be surprised by how much information three little cards can give!

I’ve found that the snake sometimes can represent tempation – this could be about you receiving the things that tempted you, that you wanted so much that you bought!

Thanks Sammie, you’re right of course and I really need to start thinking about the Snake as temptation :)
